Your success in the world rests largely on your ability to paint compelling, positive visions of the future, that others feel irresistibly drawn to be apart of, says Adam Robinson.
You want to start a new business, well you have to find ways to convince others (partners, employees, investors) that joining you will be this exciting, positive experience that will help them achieve their ideal (or at least a portion) of their ideal lives’.
You want to start a new relationship, well you have to paint the picture (in your words and deeds) that the future with you is one of peace, adventure, love, and growth or else they won’t be interested in going along with you.
Of course you have to actually back these things up, but the single reason why most people fail to achieve the outcomes they want in business, relationships or otherwise is because they haven’t yet learned to paint compelling, positive visions of the future for themselves, and then for others.
One of the greatest, yet under-appreciated skills of life.
